Nabi, Mirza Muhammad
Kizilbash.
Son of Mirza Muhammad Hasan Khan. Succeeded his father in the appointment of
Private Secretary, Dabir-ul-Mulk. In 1883 was suspended from the management of
the postal arrangements and relieved of charge of Amir Abdur Rahman’s seal.
Afterwards reinstated. He accompanied the Amir to Rawalpindi in 1885 and was
present at the meetings between Amir Abdur Rahman and the Viceroy of India and
the Foreign Secretary. One of the most important Dari poets with the pen-name
of “Wassel.”
