Bakhtiyar Beg Turkman (Abul Fazl Allami, [1599] 1873)

Bakhtiyar Beg Turkman

204. Bakhtyar Beg Gurd i Shah Mansur
The Izafat most likely means that he was the son of Shah Mançur, in which case the word gurd (athlete) would be Bakhtyar’s epithet. Two MSS. have the word pisar (son) instead of gurd.
The Tabaqat says, ‘Bakhtyar Beg Turkman in an Amir, and governs at present (1001) Siwistan. In the 32nd year, he served against the Tarikis.
