BAM― Elev. 5,250ʹ.
A large village containing about 500 families of Bughiri Turks, the head-quarters of the Bam-Safiabad district, situated between two nālās, a distance of 3 or 4 miles from the foot of the Shah Jehan mountain, 42 miles from Chaqaneh, 1 miles from Fathabad and 17 miles from Safiabad. Water good. Supplies procurable.―(C. E. Yate.)
